Senior Partner

Omobola is a Senior Partner at TLCOM and one of the few people who have shaped African institutions. She balances her monumental legacy with deep curiosity, one that currently finds her learning to play the clarinet.

Omobola leads fundraising, deal flow, and HR, and supports overall fund management. She sits on the boards of Educatly, Fairmoney, Pula, Flextock, MTN Nigeria, Custodian Investments, Cassava Technologies, and the Nigerian University of Technology and Management (NUTM).

She served as Nigeria's first Minister of Communication Technology from 2011 to 2015, launching the National Broadband Plan and seeding the country's startup ecosystem through early government VC participation and a network of incubators.

She spent over 25 years in management consulting, including five as Country Managing Director at Accenture Nigeria. Omobola is co-founder of Women in Management, Business, and Public Service (WIMBIZ).

She holds a DBA from Cranfield, a master's in Digital Electronics from King's College London, and a bachelor's in Electrical and Electronic Engineering from the University of Manchester.
