TLcom Capital LLP is authorised and regulated by the Financial Conduct Authority (FCA reference number 441120).

TLCOM is supported locally by its subsidiaries: Azure Waves Ventures Ltd in Kenya and TLcom Capital Nigeria Ltd in Nigeria. All references to "TLCOM," "we," "us," and "our" on this website refer collectively to TLcom Capital LLP and its subsidiaries, unless the context requires otherwise. The subsidiaries provide support services only, and all final investment decisions are conducted and made outside Kenya and Nigeria. The use of the TLCOM brand by subsidiaries does not alter the regulatory status, ownership, management, or operations of any fund managed by TLcom Capital LLP.

The TLCOM team includes personnel across its group entities. Certain team members featured on this website are based in Nairobi, Kenya, and are employed by Azure Waves Ventures Limited, a wholly owned subsidiary of Tlcom Holdings UK.

We believe responsible investing is good investing. ESG considerations are embedded in how we source, diligence, and support the companies we back but as part of building businesses that last.

What this means in practice

  • At diligence. We assess material ESG risks and opportunities as part of every investment decision.
  • Post-investment. We work with founders to set ESG priorities appropriate to the stage and sector of the business, and track progress through the life of the investment.
  • Reporting. We report annually to our LPs on portfolio-level ESG performance and engagement.
